Purpose :

This function enables the user to raise quotations for Customers/Clients upon their request.

Data Input                  

The user can query details pertaining to receipts giving;

• Sales Quotation
• Status
• Customer
• Date
• All Locations
• User

 And press <Find transaction> Button.

 (*) To raise a new Quotation Press <New Transaction> button.

Type :

Select the type for which quotation to be raised.

That is whether the quotation is to be raised for particular product/s or services.  And that may also be for Product and Service at same Quotation too.

Customer : Select the Customer from LOV.

Store :

Select the Store from the list of stores.

At the quotation level, it is not checked whether inventories are available

in the store selected. The Availability of the inventory would be checked

at Order Processing Level.

Description :

Enter a suitable description pertaining to the quotation to be raised.

Expiry Date :

Select an expiry date higher than current date. Quotation expiry dates will be set default for no of days decided by the users.

That may be E.g. 14 days, 21 days, 28 days etc from Current system date.

Currency :

This means the Currency of the Quotation. Here currency is extracted from Customer creation.

Home > Administration > Customers> Currency Code (Select via LOV) 

Exchange Rate :

Exchange rate is applicable to the above selected currency which will be set in default here.

Product/Service :

Select relevant product or/and service for which quotation to be raised.

Unit of Measure:

Select appropriate Unit of Measure applicable for each Product.

Quantity :

Enter amount or No of Quantity quotation to be raised.

List Price :

At the product creation and product pricing, the user requires setting prices for each product. That created price is extracted to here.

Tax/Discount :

These set discounts for selected product would be extracted to here.

Home > Sales & Marketing > Sales Discount

Total : Will be calculated by the system.

<Delete> : Press Delete button to remove entered data.

<Save> : Press the button to save the data.
